Matt co-founded CCD Partners in 2017/18 as a specialist chemistry-driven spin-out from London M&A boutique Corbett Keeling, where he was Managing Director leading the Industrials and Chemicals practice.

He began his career in Deloitte’s Transactions and Restructuring team, where he qualified as an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA), before cutting his teeth executing high-stakes deals at Barclays Capital.

Beyond leading, negotiating, and structuring M&A transactions, Matt is passionate about helping clients build M&A-enabled growth strategies - making real the cliché that 1 + 1 = 3.

Outside work, he coaches under-7s rugby, practises Japanese Jiu-Jitsu, and chauffeurs his children to their many sporting events.
