Ted Clarke

Former President and CEO of
Royal Adhesives & Sealants

Theodore (Ted) Clark is a businessman, entrepreneur, and investor with over 40 years’ experience. Starting as a shipping clerk at 19, he rose through the ranks to become President & CEO of Products Research & Chemical Corporation, a global leader in aircraft sealants and coatings. In 2003, Ted co-founded Royal Adhesives & Sealants and built it through 19 acquisitions into one of the top 10 adhesives and sealant companies in the world. Ted led the sale of Royal to H.B. Fuller in 2017 and retired as COO of H.B. Fuller in 2022, he is currently a strategic advisor to H.B. Fuller’s executive committee and is a partner at Iron Path Capital focusing on specialty industrials investments and portfolio company growth strategies. Ted also the author of Shipping Clerk to CEO and Buy and Build CEO.  

Steve Holland

Former Chairman and CEO of Brenntag AG

Steve led Brenntag AG for over two decades as Chairman of the management board and Chief Executive officer, establishing the company as the global market leader in chemical distribution. During his tenure, sales grew to €13bn with €1bn EBITDA, while Brenntag’s expansion included over 60 acquisitions. Steve now serves as an advisor to a variety of chemical companies, including Caldic BV. 

Juliet Lewis

Head of Legal, INEOS Enterprises

Juliet Lewis is Head of Legal for INEOS Enterprises and has been at INEOS for 10 years. Prior to joining INEOS, Juliet was in private practice specialising in M&A. Juliet’s role at INEOS is predominantly focused on M&A, working on transactions internationally. INEOS is a global manufacturer of petrochemicals, with a revenue of $65bn and 26000 employees globally. Despite its large size, INEOS is a relatively young company, highly focused on growth in the last 20 years and achieving its size and revenues mainly by acquisition. Juliet has been involved in several of these ranging in scale from small to multi-billion.

Kevin Cook

CEO, Sterling Pharma Solutions


Kevin has over 30 years working within the pharmaceutical service sector with a strong operational, project management and commercial background. He formed Sterling in 2016 by carving the Dudley site out of a group company to form a stand alone business. Through a combination of strong organic and inorganic growth, Sterling now operates on 5 sites (UK, US and EU) and employs 1,300 people. The business supplies over 160 customers including 16 of the top 20 global pharmaceutical companies, providing chemistry solutions to support clinical trails and life-saving commercial products.

Bob Girton

Partner, Edgewater Capital

Bob is a partner at Edgewater Capital and leads the firm's business development efforts. He has been an private equity investor in the chemicals, materials, and life science space for over a decade. Currently, he is a board member or chairman at Prolytix (large molecule CRO), GL Chemtec (small molecule CDMO), Evantic (performance polymer products for semi & A&D), and Pure Wafer (service provider to semi OEM's and Fabs). 

Matt Dixon

Managing Partner, CCD Partners


Matt is an M&A advisor who, following a career in City-based investment banking, co-founded CCD Partners in 2017/18 and hasn't looked back. CCD Partners brings together a network of highly experienced consultants and ex-executives, working together to identify and deliver the full potential of our clients' chemicals and life sciences businesses, typically in the form of divestments, M&A, and talent acquisition.
